How is it performed?
Modern application of the age-old art of tattooing provides a safe and natural looking alternative to end daily make up routine. Permanent make up is a process where pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, permanently. Although techniques may vary, the results are always the same permanent The first step consist of meeting to evaluate the possibilities offered by this technique. Photographs of other treatment results and all necessary information is presented so that the client can make an informed decision. Another important step is the study of your facial symmetry so that the new creation will be an integral part of your face. There is no risk as you are involved in each step of the procedure as to approve the shape drawn using a skin pencil, the same approval is required when determining choice of pigment color. A variety of colors are available for each procedure, which are selected, depending on the appropriate color for a client skin tone and hair color. Permanent make up is then performed using a hand held implanter machine that places color in the dermis or second layer of the skin. It is virtually a painless procedure using a topical anesthetic. Local anesthesia can also be used and causes minor discomfort when medication in injected in the procedure site.
Pre-Procedure Instructions?
No facial make up of any kind. Eyeliner procedure: Remove contact lenses and arrange for a friend or relative to drive you home as there will be some swelling & bruising. Eyelash extentions must be Removed prior to eyeliner procedure because of fallout! Lip liner or Lipstick procedure: If you suffer from fever blister or cold sores, you need to medicate preoperatively with Valtrex 500mg take 3 tablets at one time The day before or morning of procedure. No alcohol should be consumed for 24 hours prior. Aspirin therapy should be discontinued for 2weeks prior to any permanent cosmetic procedure to minimize potential hematoma formation. Use Tylenol if you need pain relief. Do not take any pain killers or tranquilizers prior to treatment.
Post-procedure?
Immediately post procedure, the color appears darker for about one week. Eyebrow sites swell and crust, Eyelids may turn red and puffy and possibly bruise. Lips tend to swell and crust as well. Clients who tend to get fever blisters or herpes in the area of the lips need medication preoperatively to prevent an outbreak. Please consult your physician for Zovirax medication. Future outbreaks will not affect the permanent color. Although many women return to work the next day, they don’t look their best for about one week during this healing interval. Everything returns to normal during that time and the color will also become lighter. After care instruction will be provided to guide you through the healing process and care instructions. Based upon your skin nature it may require more than one touch up application to complete the process and ensure the procedure meets your expectations. Follow up visit are scheduled no later than 60 days at no charge a minimum of 30 days must be allowed between application.
