Pre-Procedure Instructions?
¨ Come prepare on your appointment day with your eyebrows , eyeliner, lips drowned in penciled the way you like it, also bring samples of your favorite colors to help you achieve the look you desire. ¨ Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment, bring glasses. Eyeliner procedure: Remove contact lenses and you may want to arrange for a friend or relative to drive you home as there will be some swelling & bruising. ¨ Eyelash extensions must be removed prior to eyeliner procedure because of fallout! ¨ Lip liner or Lipstick procedure: If you suffer from fever blister or cold sores, you need to medicate preoperatively with Valtrex 2 days prior to your lip procedure and continue Rx is complete. tablets The day before or morning of procedure. ¨ No alcohol or Caffeine should be consumed for 24 hours prior , this will help minimize any swelling after the procedure. ¨ Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 72 hours prior to your procedure, to minimize potential hematoma formation. ¨ Do not take any pain killers or tranquilizers prior to treatment.
Post-procedure?
¨ Immediately post procedure, you will be provided with an after care ointment to treat the procedure area for 7 days. The color appears darker for about one week. Eyebrow sites swell and crust, Eyelids may turn red and puffy and possibly bruise. Lips tend to swell and crust as well. Clients who tend to get fever blisters or herpes in the area of the lips may experience an outbreak during the healing process. ¨ You can apply ice to the treated area to reduce swelling. ¨ Do not attempt to remove the pigment (colors) or scabs with your fingernails. It will fall by itself naturally ¨ Avoid direct shower water on the treated area after the procedure. ¨ Although many women return to work the next day, they don’t look their best for about one week during this healing interval. Everything returns to normal ¨ during that time and the color will also become 20% lighter. ¨ A follow up appointment is required in 4 weeks to revise the treated area by adding more color or to simply enhance the shape to ensure the procedure meets your expectations. ¨ Follow up visit are scheduled no later than 60 days after this date you will have to pay full price for any of the procedures performed no exceptions! If there are any inconvenience or have plans and cannot make it within that time you will need to notify us to make accommodation for you. ¨ You may use Tylenol if you need pain relief. ¨ Permanent Cosmetics is not meant to last forever you will usually need a color boost every 1-3 years to maintain color freshness. If you expose yourself to the sun often or use anti-aging creams such as Retinol products, Glycolic Acids or any bleaching products this will make the color lighten faster and will need touch up more often during the year. The better you take care of the procedure site the longer it will last… ¨ Any Questions or concern; don't hesitate to ask .
